We’re excited to announce the kickoff of our school visits under the School Anticorruption and Integrity Network (SAIN) program, where we’ll be visiting 50 schools in Abuja. SAIN aims to amplify the impact of government-led integrity initiatives in schools by creating a unified framework for school management to engage students in line with national objectives ¹.
This initiative tackles the issue of multiple, uncoordinated ethical programs in schools, ensuring they become better coordinated, impactful, trackable, and aligned with national goals. To encourage school management’s involvement, SAIN recognizes institutions’ efforts through certifications, awards, and publications, fostering a sense of inclusion as contributors to anti-corruption and integrity.
Key Components of SAIN:
- Capacity Building Workshops: Direct engagement of school management through various activities
- Competitions: State, regional, and national competitions to promote anti-corruption exercises
- Recognition: Certifications, awards, and publications to encourage school management’s involvement
- Unified Framework: Coordinated approach to integrity initiatives, ensuring alignment with national objectives
By empowering schools to take an active role in promoting integrity, we’re creating a safer, more accountable educational environment. SAIN serves as a platform for voicing out against injustice and corruption, paving the way for a better future for our youth.
