We have done it again, successfully carried out another programme in the University of Benin Banquet Hall, Edo State, Nigeria. The programme which was developed under our annual programme ORIENTATION DOOR for 2019, was tagged Integrity in the 21st Century. It event was developed to discuss the importance of integrity and moral values with youths in the Ugbowo premises of Edo state, Nigeria. Youths from different locality participated in the event which made it fun.
The programme began at about 10am with Opening prayers and the waiting for arrival of guest speaker. This was followed by an opening remark by the YAS Pro-Chairman, Prof. Francis Omoruyi, who appreciated God and the guess for making out time to participate in the event. The guest speaker, Hon. E. J. Aigbonayinma who was ably represented was invited to give the lecture for the day. It was a very interesting period as youths’ mind were built to apply integrity in all areas of their lives.
The lecture was then followed by the presentation of Certificate of Commendation to Prof. Faith Oviasuyi and Prof. Christopher Okaka (both receive by Prof. Faith) for their indispensable contribution to the development of their department and faculty respectively. Mr. Prince Harrison, Chairman of the Prince Harrison Foundation represented by Comr. Chisom, was presented with the Live Right (LR) Award for his contribution to youths’ capacity building through mentorship in the state. The programme rounded up at about 12:30pm with a closing prayer and refreshment of guests
