On wednesday, 19th october, 2023. We paid a courtesy visit to the Rivers State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps Headquarter, NSCDC.
The visit was an interesting one as the commandant expressed his joy and encourage us to keep up with the good work and not to relent in our mission.
He further said, our aims and mission is inline with that of the Corps mission and will love to see more of us engaging and enlightening the Youth on the danger of drug addiction and cyber-crime. He endorsed the program and also presented an Award to the Youth Anti-Corruption Society which was received by our Society’s Manager/Head of State Operations, Comr. ABIBO SAMSON DANIEL to encourage his effort, strength and exceptional idea for the enhancement, and development of youth and students. He also commended the team and effort of the Youth Anticorruption society, its partners, and others for such an amazing initiative and charged the body to continue in their fight against drug addiction, cyber-crime, corruption, election malpractices, vandalism among others.
As corps, we will continue to protect the nation against criminals, fight against vandalism, corruption, drug addiction, cyber-crime, etc and make sure we have a society free of crime, he added.
In return, Mr Abibo, Samson Daniel appreciate the state commandant, Sir, BC. Igwebueze and team for their warm reception, exceptional track record of the commandant, and his effort in repositioning of the corps since he took over.
